چکیده
The unregulated use of antibiotics has emerged as a major driving force antibiotic resistance and public health hazard, particularly in developing countries. This necessitates to find out solution that benefits humans animals. Probiotics are one such alternative; they simply known beneficial bacteria exert living beings. Probiotic microorganisms crucial for the biotechnology food industries. They frequently employed starters production probiotic goods, (such yogurt, cheese fermented meats), well green chemistry uses. Bacteria can be conveniently preserved using lyophilization. It permits long-term storage inexpensive distribution at suprazero temperatures while limiting viability functionality losses by lowering water activity values below 0.2. study aimed determine efficacy lyophilized after All isolates were found Gram positive showed no catalase activity. sugars viz. Probiotic Properties of Lyophilized Cell Free Extract of Lactobacillus casei
BACKGROUND In recent years there have been considerable interests in the use of probiotic live cells for nutritional and therapeutic purposes. This strategy can be concomitant with some limitations such as survival of live cell during the GI-transit and their effective delivery to target tissues upon ingestion. Several attempts have been made to overcome these limitations such as their microenc...
متن کاملMicroencapsulation of Probiotic Bacteria:
In the recent past, there has been an explosion of probiotic health-based products. Many reports indicated that there is poor survival of probiotic bacteria in these products. Further, the survival of these bacteria in the human gastro-intestinal system is questionable. Providing probiotic living cells with a physical barrier against adverse environmental conditions is therefore an approach cur...
متن کاملSurvival of bacteria in lyophilized plasma.
Although lyophilization reduces the bacterial population in plasma, some species survive for several months. Sensitivity or resistance to lyophilization in plasma is a characteristic of each morphological type, with gram-negative species being more sensitive to destruction than cocci or sporulating gram-positive species. Reconstituted preparations of lyophilized plasma must be incubated for 24 ...
متن کاملPili in Probiotic Bacteria
The ability to adhere to intestinal epithelial tissue and mucosal surfaces is a key criterion in selecting probiotics. Adhesion is considered to be a prerequisite for successful colonization and survival in the gastrointestinal tract to provide persistent beneficial effects to the host. Bacteria express a multitude of surface components that mediate adherence. Pili or fimbriae are surface adhes...
